Will post reassembly instuctions in next posting. Legs of the action disc must be lined up with these during reassembly. Note the holes in the back end of the bolt and hammer. ( )Ħ)After the bumper screw is out you'll see the action disc and the recoil/hammer springs.ħ)Remove the action disc and springs from the receiver.Ĩ )Slide the bolt all the way back to the rear of the action slot.ĩ)Grasping bolt handle with thumb and index finger,pull handle straight out from bolt.ġ0)While pulling trigger,push on bolt face with finger and push bolt out of the receiver.ġ1)Bolt and hammer out of the receiver. Some spring pressure so remove carefully. Remove safety/safety spring.( )Ĥ)Using a large screwdriver or coin,turn out receiver bumper screw counter clockwise a fewĥ)Turn out the bumper screw slowly by hand the rest of the way. This will get away from "Dry Firing" the rifle.Ģ)Remove the magazine then receiver/barrel from the stock.ģ)Remove the receiver bumper/safety retaining screw. This will release the spring pressure on the hammer if the rifle is cocked. While pulling trigger,slowly move bolt forward. Note is for the A1 1st variationġ)While the receiver/barrel is still in the stock,slide the bolt all the way back to the rear. Here you go for the disassembly/assembly of the Marlin A1.
